DeStore is proud to have collaborated with Sony within the Sony Web3 Incubation Program, pioneering the tokenization of real-world assets.
In the trial, DeStore tokenized and sold a Sony speaker from our Melbourne Fulfillment Center to Japan, showcasing DeStore’s platform and vision for the future of commerce on the DeStore Network MVP marketplace.
The selected product was a Sony wireless speaker XB100. We integrated it into our platform to create the first blockchain-based digital twin for a Sony product minted on the Astar blockchain. Laava ID smart fingerprints enhance authenticity verification.
Dispatched via our dropshipping system, the speaker will be featured in DeStore’s pitch on June 18th at Sony’s Incubation DEMO day, highlighting our potential to revolutionize commerce in the Web3 landscape.

At Sony Demo Day, we proudly spotlighted DeStore’s powerhouse use case. Our demo highlighted seamless scanning from the physical product to the backend, leveraging the Astar Network blockchain to reveal the Digital Twin of the Sony XB100 speaker. It was a moment of immense pride for DeStore.
